- 1 teaspoon butter
- 0.5 limes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 0.25 teaspoons chili spice mix
- 0.3 teaspoons salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 3 twigs basil
Add two pinches of chili spice mix, pinch of salt and black pepper onto shrimps. Combine everything with one teaspoon of olive oil. Leave the shrimps to marinate in the spices for 10 minutes.
Place a pot over a medium heat. Pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil and add chopped onion.
When onion softens, add garlic, salt, black pepper and cook for another minute. Add chopped tomatoes.
Bring the mass to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes over a low heat. Add basil leaves.
Heat a skillet. Cook shrimps over a medium heat in the skillet (1 minute per side, 2 minutes overall). When shrimps are almost cooked, squeeze some lime juice in the skillet and add butter.
Add some tomato sauce in a deep plate and transfer shrimps on top of the sauce. If you want, sprinkle the snack with chili spices and lime juice.
