Chicken with peach sauce

This dinner recipe is very easy to make and you will be surprised how well peaches complement the chicken.

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken fillet
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons starch
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • Pinch black pepper
  • 400 g canned peaches
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Preparation

Combine flour, starch, salt and black pepper. Cut chicken fillet into small, one-bite pieces. Coat chicken pieces with flour and starch mixture.

Melt some butter in a skillet and cook chicken pieces over a small heat. When one side of the chicken becomes golden brown, flip the pieces and let the other side cook.

When chicken is cooked, pour one cup of canned peaches syrup (only the syrup, do not add peaches themselves) and soy sauce into the skillet. Stir everything nicely and cook for another few minutes.

Serve with rice and canned peach slices.

Before pouring peach syrup you can add a bit of minced pistachios to make the taste more piquant.
