crispy sweet potato fries

Sweet potatoes are considered by dietologists as more nutritious and healthy than regular potatoes. That’s why we suggest making fries from Sweet Potatoes. But don’t worry, you will definitely cook some good crispy fries, even though, these are not the regular potatoes. So, let’s begin, take a look at the recipe!


  • 2 sweet potatoes, middle-sized
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 pinch caraway
  • 1 pinch rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 pinch paprika
  • 1 pinch salt


Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

Peel, wash and drain the potatoes. Cut them in fry-shaped pieces. Make sure that the pieces are similar in size so the fries will bake more evenly.

Season the fries with caraway, rosemary, paprika, minced garlic. Salt the fries. Drizzles with oil and stir everything well.

Transfer the fries onto a baking sheet. Arrange them in a single layer. Cook in the oven for about 20-25 minutes (it depends how thin you cut the potatoes) or until the fries are crispy.

Serve with garlic, mayonnaise or yogurt sauce. Goes well with fresh vegetable salad or as a garnish for various meat dishes.
