This is a rather interesting way to prepare meatballs. However, it is very tasty. So, follow the steps written in the recipe and make a wonderful Mexican dinner.
- 600g minced chicken
- 1 tablespoon Mexican chicken spice mix
- 1 onion
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 carrots
- 2-3 stems celery
- 250g mushrooms
- 400g canned tomatoes
- Black pepper
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
Combine meat with chopped onion and spice mix. Form 8 meatballs from the meat.
Smear a baking dish with oil and place meatballs in it. Cook in the oven until nicely brown.
Add 1 spoon of oil to a skillet and cook carrots, celery and mushrooms for 7-8 minutes. Then add tomatoes and bring to the boil. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
Transfer the sauce onto the meatballs and cook them in the oven for another 10 minutes.
Serve with cilantro.
