The cooking process of coconut milk chicken can be prolonged because of refrigerating the meat but, believe me, it’s worth it. If you want an amazing dinner, this recipe is for you. Coconut milk adds delicate sweet taste that will make you forget that you eat chicken!
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 10 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1 lime
- 250ml coconut milk
- 150ml heavy whipping cream
Rub chicken drumsticks with salt, pepper, grated nutmeg and squeezed garlic.
Drizzle with lime juice and transfer to a refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
After 30 minutes, remove from the refrigerator and place in a baking dish. Combine coconut milk with whipping cream and pour the mixture on top of the chicken.
Cook in the oven for about 55 minutes.
