prawn with mango sauce

This recipe is going to be a wow factor at your dinner party. We can assure you that!


  • 15 fresh prawns
  • 1 mango
  • 2 limes
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 0.5 chili peppers
  • 0.5 teaspoons cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoons turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper


Disembowel prawns – it is very important to remove black thread from prawns’ back and abdomen. Wash prawns well and drain. Take 1 lime and grate the peel on top of prawns. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Place peeled mango, garlic, chili, cumin and turmeric to a blender. Squeeze one lime. Blend everything until smooth.

Drizzle prawns with olive oil. Thread prawns onto wooden skewers. Check if the skewers fit in your skillet, if not, shorten them. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Serve with the mango sauce.
